An excavator’s hydraulic drive system includes the Travel Motor Assembly TM22, which is powered by the machine’s primary hydraulic pump.  The final drive (which is used to power an excavator)  can then use the power generated by the travel motors to convert it into torque.  The travel motor is a critical component of an excavator’s operation since it fuels the final drive motor.  However, it does not serve the same purpose as a final drive.
