The ECU is used in TAD940VE having a crankshaft power of 190 Kw. The controller is also used in TAD941VE, TAD942VE. The highest rated engine with a crankshaft power of 280Kw also utilises the controller 21695319.

All these 9.4 litre engines are powered by the EMS 2 management system. The ECU can be integrated with CAN Bus SAE J1939 + J1587 (not the earlier basic versions). This ensures real time communication with the ABS and transmission system.
